Meet Dylan Gaynair
I believe families deserve honest conversations before financial pressure makes the decisions for them.
— Dylan Gaynair, Founder
Edge Life Group was built to bring clarity to important financial conversations: protecting income, keeping a home secure, preparing for final expenses, and creating more options for retirement and legacy.
My approach is direct and educational. I listen first, explain what matters, and help you evaluate solutions based on your actual priorities—not a generic pitch.
Agent conversation framework
Use this sequence after the initial discovery. Keep it conversational, pause for the client’s answers, and adapt the wording to what they share.
“Now, [Client], before we move forward, I want to make sure this is truly important to you. What got you looking into life insurance? Was there a death in the family, a medical condition that came up, or something else that made you start looking?”
“Great—so this is something that’s important to get in place. [Client], is it okay if I’m blunt and completely honest with you?”
“My job isn’t to waste your time or mine. I value both. I’m not here to convince you to get life insurance, because that would mean convincing you that your family is important—and I don’t need to do that.”
“We’re both adults. You need life insurance, and my job is to help you get it. I’m a broker, which means I shop across 30 different insurance companies to find the best price and product for your needs, budget, health, and financial situation.”
“So, [Client], before I move forward: is getting this taken care of for you and your family truly important? Like I said, I value your time and mine. Yes or no?”
“Alright, grab a pen and paper and let me know when you’re ready. Great, [Client]. I’m like a waiter at a restaurant: my job is to take your order and give you what you want. What monthly amount would feel comfortable in your day-to-day and month-to-month budget?”
“If I can find an adequate amount of coverage that fits that budget, is there any reason we couldn’t apply today? Ultimately, the final decision is up to the insurance carrier—not me.”
